Tom Russell is in hospital
« on: February 11, 2019, 02:13:41 pm »
Folks,
Tom is in the hospital and having a REALLY rough time.  Peggy and I went to see him yesterday and didn't stay long at all.  He is in ICU and doesn't want visitors at this time.  He is having trouble breathing and Oxygen stats are in the low 80's on his own.

Without a doubt, I am worried about him this time.  His breathing and heart rate are not good.  If you are a praying person he could use your prayers.

I will keep a check on him.

We checked on him earlier and I think he is doing much better.  We will see how he is before the meeting tonight.

Tom's breathing was better, but he has taken a set back in the last two days.

Keep him and his family in your thoughts.

I received an e-mail from him tonight. The fact he wrote an e-mail is a positive sign. He sounded upbeat.
Anyone who can call Tom Russell a friend is blessed.

Tom took his final promotion in life to Heavenly Occupant on Friday.

There have been no finalized arrangements at this point.  I think Linda and Chad want to have a memorial service possibly sometime in April so their out-of-town relatives can attend.  I will post the plans as soon as they are made.

Vaya Con Dios, my friend!
