I am NOT surprised....but totally impressed.  This is the stark contrast to an ARF .  I think you addressed the windshield quite well.  The black lightning bolt looks great on the starboard side........were you not happy of the Port side paint?

Thank you, Paul. No the starboard is the worse side. Not too bad if 4' or more away.  ::)  Yes, Lane, I couldn't come up with switch location. With pilot in rear I just happened to think of it. Kinda wierd, I know. Refueling is thru the door/window access also.

Buzz is ready to taxi out to the driveway for engine testing and photo op. Got gas cap and leather gear bunji covers sewed on. Put a 1/8" diameter magnet in the wing and tiny screw in upper door frame to hold door open. I can't find McCauley prop decal; usually get prop decals from cal-graphx. A few pictures:

I put the cub together and Nancy got some ground shots. I uploaded some to the Gallery also. Still haven't flown. This particular Cub is based in Springfield, OR. The walk-around pics that I used were taken right after a restore job.

Thank you, Bill. Finally got to fly the Cub today (4-24-18). Weather was beautiful and planes and pilots were out in force. Flew her 2 times without the cowl and all was well. Mounted the front cowl and flew 2 more times. Great day all around.
