'Coffin Corner' radio problems
« on: March 01, 2016, 10:57:00 am »
It's been a while since we had discussion of transmitter/receiver disconnects (or momentary interruption) up in the northeast corner of our airspace. But looks like it could have happened to Lewie Monday Feb 1 causing loss of a plane.  It seems to be brand related. I'm going from memory but I think Hitec and Spectrum transmitters were in that troublesome group.  Anyone?  Anyone?

My crash a couple of weeks ago was on the SouthEast Corner.....video review could have been a stall...still I had no control over the plane during the crash.  One thing to note that receiver took a long time to link up on several occasions previous to my crash.

So my crash could have been a stall....even though I had made the same turn at the same speed at or near the same place many times before the crash and with different aircraft that day.

Spektrum DX6 / AR7610 receiver: Fresh 4s 35c 4000mAh LiPo at or near 1:30second into the flight.
